WELCOME TO BISHOP HILL
The weekend of March 31 - April 2, 2006-- the Swedish-American community of western Illinois will welcome the society spring tour to Bishop Hill, Moline, Galena and the Quad city area for a wonderful tour and festive banquet. The Society every year or so sponsors historical tours of Swedish America, and we would like your ideas of where it would be fun and educational to visit. In recent years we've been to Lindsborg KS, New Sweden IA, the early Swedish colony sites in the Delaware Valley, Swedish-American communities in northern Illinois, Door County WI, and Worcester MA.
